During GCSE Art I created a series of lilypads, each in a different style. I found this a very helpful way to explore different materials, and enjoyed discovering how each medium behaved. My favourite version was made with Gouache, which is pictured on the right. This was my first time using this paint and I enjoyed experimenting and finding out how it handles.
These were the two most experimental versions I created. One is made out of paper which I put together like a collage, and the other used highlighter pens, which gave it a fun and vibrant result.
